3. Reiki, Usui Style--Levels I and II, IIIa and IIIb, and other Styles

We are offering attunement and training in Reiki at Levels I and II. Reiki is a "Japanese form of stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing." What makes Reiki unique is that it can be added to any other form of alternative healing practice, such as spiritual healing, crystal work, chakra balancing, meditation, aromatherapy, naturopathy, massage therapy, and homeopathy, for example. Reiki involves the transfer of divine energy or chi or ki through the practitioner to the client to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself. In this way, it can also be combined with conventional treatments for illness, injury or rehabilitation.

Reiki utilizes specific techniques for restoring and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. It is a holistic, hands-on energy based approach that touches all levels: body, mind, and spirit. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is the Japanese word representing universal life energy.

Reiki abilities are passed on to students and practitioners using a process called attunement. Level I focuses on physical healing, and hands-on technique, with an introduction to energy medicine concepts.

Level II focuses on expanding the abilities of the practitioner, to the use of symbols, and begins the practices of mental and emotional healing. This level also increases the practitioner's capacity to transfer Reiki energy.

Level IIIa and IIIb are Mastery levels, which increase the understanding of energetic dynamics, involve the use of more symbols, and add the level of spiritual healing. The practitioner has a Mastery level capacity to transfer Reiki energy, and level IIIb is the level where the practitioner makes a commitment to the practice of Reiki, and enabled to attune and train others in the practise.

This outlines the practice of Usui style Reiki. An internet search will outline other styles as well, which differ slightly.

At this time in Prince George, I can arrange private training in Reiki at your convenience in the privacy of your home, or at my location. I am also willing to arrange group training for you and your friends, for a negotiated rate. I do travel, and I have done classes in Edmonton. Because the cost of the rented room is a factor built into the course fees, having a room to do a workshop can make it more affordable. My rates for level one and two in Usui Reiki do very because of that factor.

Registration online can be done by going to the Products section of the website, and looking under workshops. Students are registered once the registration is paid in full. Please pre-print the registration form, or let me know to have one printed for you when you pay. Registrations must have a deposit for enrollment, to keep your seat in the class. Please prepay registrations by making arrangements with me. My usual deposit is $20.00 with full fee due at the time of the course. The deposit is not refundable, but will be applied to course fees.

Level IIIa can be run for a cost of $375 plus GST, and Master / Teacher at $450 plus GST, or combined Level IIIa and Master Teacher for $750.00 plus GST.  Each level has 8 hours of training, and comes with book and certificate. At the present time, Level IIIa and IIIb is offered privately, with no additional charge for private training. 

With your training, you get all the materials and great hands on and video presentations of reiki practise, inclucing what I have gathered/researched on Reiki, detailed lineage charts, over 50 pages of material we go through and you can review on your own, and I use a lot of different methods to help you learn. I include meditation review, review of energy anatomy, and more. I also provide ongoing mentorship and networking with you after you are attuned.

I know that price varies on cost for the attunements, and that depends on where you go and who you go to, but there is an old saying "you get what you pay for." And, if you are ready, it will be; money always seems to be available to those who are ready. I like to make sure students have time to practise as they learn, so that time is built into the workshop time. I also can negotiate trades for attunement, or if you have a skill or knowledge, I have been known to trade service for service. I believe the level IIIa and IIIb I teach is worth it, as I continue to add material, constantly research and review my curriculum, and pass this on to my students as I go.

I have also been trained and attuned in Celtic Reiki, Elemental Reiki, Isis Seichim Reiki, Money Reiki, Celtic Wisdom Energy System, Karuna Ki, Seichim, Kundalini, Kaballah, Elemental Reiki Systems and Ethereal Crystal Attunements. I have more systems as well in certification, but I have not listed them all at this point.
