Very Important Statements about Magick, Spiritual Development, Natural and Alternative Healing, and Our Products (PLEASE READ) --We at Echoes At Dawn Metaphysical Supply believe in the products we sell, and use many of them ourselves. We are people who believe in and practice magick and natural, alternative healing methods and therapies. We understand that our magickal and spiritual products are tools to help us unleash our magickal and spiritual potential. We believe that certain symbols, images, botanicals, and potions, have natural healing powers.
With that said, we are also painfully aware of the legal climate in which we live. No one who practices magick, natural healing remedies, or spiritual development techniques would reasonably expect any guarantees as to the effectiveness or attributes of such a product, because we understand that there are many influences on magick, spiritual development, and natural or alternative healing methods. We must make the following statements to protect ourselves.

While some may believe certain of our products may possess magickal or healing qualities, we sell all these products as novelties only. We make no warranties, either implied or stated, to the magickal or medicinal properties of any of the products we sell, and we are not responsible for the failure of these products to produce the results desired by our customers. Use at your own risk. We will not be held liable.
MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
We cannot know the impact any of our products will have on our individual customers. You are responsible for knowing your own health status and the products that are acceptable for you to use. Please contact your doctor if you are unsure whether a product may negatively influence your health. If you use one of our products and experience a negative reaction, discontinue use immediately and consult your doctor. Use at your own risk. We will not be held liable.
Further to this - all botanical products, or those products made with botanical products, such as herb sachets, or magickal oils, for example, are made for external use only. Use at own risk. We will not be held liable.
2. Privacy Policy--your personal information is about you and you have the right to refuse to share it. We collect your information to give you the best service we can in filling your order. We will not collect your information for using it in marketing programs and will not give it to anyone within the scope of the Personal Information Protection Act for British Columbia, Canada. We do not keep records of customer information except to verify location for sales tax purposes , in which your details are held off the web, in our store database (and only with your permission), or on our email list(which is opt-in and securely held by an email service) , which we use to let you know about stock updates, information about how to use our products, or other news about our business you may be interested in, such as where and when we plan to set up face to face vending. 3. Shipping overcharges--Sometimes web scripts are a little inflexible. There is no perfect script, and rather than pocket extra money in shipping, if there is a difference (like five dollars or more), in the cost of shipping your items, and you have paid more, we will refund the difference. Why are we doing this? Because you told us that being cost friendly in our shipping was important, and we want you to benefit from our policy. We also use Canada Post for our shipper. If you want us to ship your products with someone else, email your order, and we will negotiate the shipping and handling from there. If you think that the estimator is ridiculously high, choose the email your order in option (not the email money transfer option.) We can manually calculate and quote your shipping costs much more accurately...we will weigh the item and tell you. I check for orders regularly, and check my email regularly, and I will get back to you. You can decide from there.
4. Canadian orders only--well, it is like this....we are set up to handle Canadian orders so that I do not have the hassle or working in a variety of currencies, and trying to account for it. Let's face it, rules around customs, shipping, taxes, and the like, make international shipping hard to actually do, never mind the possibility you order something and be hit up for unexpected duty in your country. No matter what anyone tells you, shopping is still limited by geography, and the rules in the country you live. To serve our primary customers, we have chosen at this time to only serve customers in Canada at this time. However, if you make an item, and you are in the US, I can import the item to customers here.
5. Payments (for out of town orders, we prefer Money orders, but will take your cheque) --We also will take cheques or money orders for mail orders or telephone orders (local Prince George residents--see Local Residents Policy). Our policy is to wait five business days after depositing your cheque to make sure it clears for processing and shipping your order. (No holds on postal money orders.) We will hold your order merchandise till your cheque payment clears. We will notify you when we will deposit your or send your orders. We will not take post dated cheques. Please make sure your cheque or money order is made out to ECHOES AT DAWN METAPHYSICAL SUPPLY. This way, I avoid bounced cheques, and you have no unexpected cheques just clearing your account without notice. Let's face it, the banks are charging $35.00 or more for bouncing (to both you and me, and so it would add another $70.00 to your order potentially), so extra time is worth the hassle. If you do not want a delay, use a postal money order.
6. Local orders--if you are a local (that is, able to come and pick up your order from us in Prince George), we ask that you email your order from the website, or using the web catalog or a print catalog, phone your order in. We can take cash, credit card or debit cards. Sorry, no personal or government cheques. Pick up of orders is by appointment, so when I let you know your order is ready, we will communicate and set up your pick up appointment. Appointments can be arranged most days of the week between 10 am and 6 pm.
7. Paypal-- right now, Paypal allows Canadians to use their bank accounts and credit cards and allows the most flexibility. I am hoping technology will change, and if it does, I will pass this service on. You can process with them without a Paypal account, or set up a Paypal account. They are using military encryption, and codes and such to keep your information private and safe. We do not see your personal private payment information, just whether or not your payment is approved. We ask you to include a phone number for us to talk to you about your order. If you do not wish to leave us one, that is ok too. We will use your email address to communicate with you about your order. We will add you to our email list unless you ask to be added. See Payment Instructions for more details.
8. Email Transfers -- we also, for your convenience, can take an email transfer. If you bank at a major Canadian Bank, and bank online, you can for a small fee, send your payment to us via email transfer. It is a completely secure system using a Canadian gateway, and basically, you email me, I get the email, and I login to my bank account and deposit to my account. No financial or account numbers are shared between banks. Kind of link using a debit machine, without the machine. Yes, there is a fee. See Payment Instructions for more details.
9. Vending Venues -- we get on the road in the summer, and set up our tent and tables and allow you to come see what we have at various venues. At these venues, we have the capacity to do mostly Cash sales, and Credit Cards where cell service is available. Items are first come first serve, and some items are not allowed at some venues. If there is an item you want, and it is not on the table at the venue, feel free to ask about it.
10. Online Orders are Priority Orders -- if an order is entered online, it is a priority sale. The item is essentially set aside for the online order. If there is a demand for an item, online orders are filled first, and then appointment shopping orders. If I am going to a vending venue, all the inventory generally comes with me. If you want an item, email your order in, and you may pick up at a vending venue. Since I keep my inventory on site, if I am sold out, I am sold out till reorder. I re-order regularly, so if you want a sold out item, let me know that you are interested, and I will message you personally when it comes in.
